Will Badgett has been a member of Target Margin Theatre for over 15 years and has worked with The Talking Band for nearly 25 years - two New York City based award-winning theater companies. He has performed regionally at The Guthrie Theater (People’s Temple), Boston Shakespeare Company (Othello), Hartford Stage Company (Judy Tate’s Fast Blood), The Cleveland Playhouse (Romeo and Juliet), Trinity Rep (No Plays No Poetry directed by Anne Bogart), as well as the Shakespeare Theatre in DC (Othello starring Patrick Stewart), Perseverance Theater in Alaska (Lilac and Flagg) and others. With the Talking Band he has performed through out Europe, Russia, South America and the States in more than 20 original plays including his own play Empty Boxes directed by fellow EST member Kent Alexander. His work in Target Margin Theater's translation of Goethe's Faust parts 1 and 2 was called "a breakthrough performance" in American Theater Magazine. Film and TV appearances include: Spike Lee’s Joe’s Bed-Stuy Barbershop: We Cut Heads; Leslie Harris’ Just another Girl on the I.R.T.; "The Shield" and "24." Presently residing in Los Angeles he is a member of the L.A. Classical Theater Lab.
