Kelly Anne Burns is an actor, writer, director, producer, & clown. She was nominated for a 2011 New York Innovative Theater Award for 'Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role' for her work in The Navigator, which went on to receive 2 Drama Desk & 8 NYIT nominations. She is co-CEO (with her husband Mike Smith Rivera) of Burning Clown Productions (www.burningclown.tv) - a production company that specializes in developing and realizing new works of film and theatre. In her spare time, she clowns with the Fool School Academy Players & improvs at UCB. A former professional dancer and All-American high jumper, she still taps in her spare time and jumps in rain puddles just for fun.
