PETER BASCH became a member of EST in 1991 as an actor, director and playwright. His one-act play, English (It's Where the Words Are) was presented in the 1996 Marathon of One-Acts. It was then produced in Los Angeles at the HBO Workspace. Peter moved to LA and became active with EST/LA where he managed the Playwrights' Lab and appeared in How Do You Get to Carnegie Hall with Nick Ullet (dir. Jennie O'Hara), as well as a number of readings by Carole Real and others. Peter got married in 2000 to Ellen Sandler and has two stepchildren and a grandchild (with another on the way). Peter has been a Technical Writer at JPL for almost 15 years and his signature is on the Perseverance rover (along with the rest of the build-and-test team). Peter is currently in class at Risa Bramon's BGB Studio and has started sending out headshots and going on auditions again, to see how it goes as an old man!
