MICHAEL BRADY is a playwright and created and managed Berkshire Voices, an ongoing workshop for local playwrights. With Great Barrington Public Theatre: readings of The Group and Queen of the Sea. With Berkshire Playwrights Lab: various readings as well as directing in the Radius Festivals. His plays Pipeline and If I Go First were produced in Barrington Stage Company’s 10x10 New Play Festival. Bennington Community Theater produced Lunch with Dad in 2019, and If I Go First in 2022
His play To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday was developed by The Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York City and produced as a film by Sony Pictures.
Other stage works include Sara, Equity Library Theatre at Lincoln Center, Semper Fi, Gloucester Stage Company, Hard Time, Main Street Stage, North Adams, and Two Bears Blinking, New Theatre, Miami.

Michael also served as a playwright mentor with Barrington Stage Company, helping local students find their own voices in the theatre. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild and the Ensemble Studio Theatre.
