Andrew Grosso (Director). EST credits include The Fork by Emily Chaddick Weiss in the 2017 Marathon, The Gratifications by Ryan Dowler in Youngblood's Unfiltered and Bloodworks, and several hours worth of ten minute plays.
Outside of EST, Andrew wrote and directed Perfect Harmony at The Acorn Theater at Theatre Row, Clurman Theater at Theater Row, Stoneham Theatre, 45 Bleecker, Fringe NYC, Fringe Encores, and NYU Studio Tisch. Other NYC credits include: Mother (with Emmy Award winners Buck Henry and Holland Taylor), Wrong Way Up! with the rock band The Niagaras (The Belt Theatre), and the NY Premier of William Faulkner’s As I Lay Dying, (Ohio Theatre/ Chashama) which he adapted for the stage.
Work with new writers includes Roberto-Aguirre-Sacasa, Rachel Bond, Joshua Conkle, Jason Grote, Martyna Majok, Chris Sullivan, and David Weiner. Assistant Directing credits include Judgment at Nuremberg on Broadway (SDC and Shepherd Traube Fellowship), a season in residence at The Shakespeare Theatre in DC, and The Almeida Theatre in London. Teaching/Guest Directing credits include the NYU Dramatic Writing Program, Fordham University, Falconworks’ Off the Hook program, The Dalton School, The Urban Assembly School for Law & Justice, and The Shakespeare Theatre.
Alumni of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab, the Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab, & Duke University. Member of SDC and the Dramatist Guild.
