J.J. Kandel is the Founder and Managing Partner of STAGE TO SCREEN NYC. Giving plays a life beyond the stage. Films include Sparring Partner, Still Happy, 10 K, Good Luck (In Farsi), and The Mulberry Bush. President and Producing Artistic Director of Throughline Artists, co-founder of the SUMMER SHORTS Festival of New American Short Plays® produced at 59E59 Theaters in Manhattan, for 13 consecutive seasons. J.J. Kandel is currently the Programming Director at DENIZEN Theatre in New Paltz, NY and founder of the annual SUMMER SHORTS FILM FEST.
