Leslie Lyles’s screenplay Me and Veronica (True Pictures/ RCA Columbia) was directed by Don Scardino and starred Elizabeth McGovern, Patricia Wettig, John Heard and Michael O'Keefe. Other screenplays include The Italian Stallion, The Stone Pony and The Virgin Mary (Sundance Finalist). Full length plays include: Cleveland and Half-way Back, nominated for an Oppenheimer Award, Winner of The Drama League Award and was produced by Ensemble Studio Theatre, directed by Jamie Hammerstein. A Lifetime of Reasons was produced by All Seasons Theatre Company and directed by Shirley Kaplan. Mad Mary had a staged reading produced by Two River Theatre Company, directed by Richmond Hoxie, starring Barbara Andres as Mary Lincoln. One act plays include: The Great Pretenders, which premiered at The Ensemble Studio Theatre Marathon, directed by Billy Hopkins. Rain Heavy at Times at 59 East 59 Summer Shorts, directed by Billy Hopkins and The Waters of March at 59 East 59 Summer Shorts, directed by Billy Hopkins.
