Shyko Amos

A multi-talented performer, Shyko Amos career began at the prestigious National Youth Music Theatre of Great Britain  (NYMT) with performances at The Royal Albert Hall for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 50th Birthday Celebrations and again at The Lyceum Theatre –Royal Variety Performance in celebration of HRH Prince Charles’ 50th birthday.  After gaining a Post Graduate in Musical Theatre from the Guilford School of Acting (UK) highlights of her career to date include: No. 1 Musical Mamma Mia, In Time at The Almeida Theatre written by Oliver Award winning writer Bola Adje, the first British revival of Tony/Oliver Award nominated play Once on This Island and for The National Theatre – Songs of Freedom written by award winning British playwright Kwame Kwe Ama. She moved to the US, after successfully gaining a place at William Esper Studios in New York under the supervision of Master acting teacher Bill Esper.  Upon graduation (July 2010) she was accepted as lifetime member of the EST.  Shyko now lives between the US and the UK and looks forward to future productions with the EST and in the US.
