Marilyn Rockafellow appeared on Broadway in Clothes for a Summer Hotel by Tennessee Williams directed by José Quintero, Play Memory directed by Hal Prince, and Open Admissions by Shirley Lauro for which she was nominated Best Actress by the New York Drama Desk. A member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York and Los Angeles, she has been involved in the development of many new plays as actor and director. Extensive regional theatre credits include the Actors Theatre of Louisville, for whom she toured with the American Theatre Exhibition to Romania and Poland. Numerous guest star appearances in film and television include a starring role on “Law & Order” submitted for Emmy Nomination. Marilyn has added writing to her theatrical endeavors. Her first play, Tea In Winter (a finalist in the Short Play Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and produced at Highways in Los Angeles in the Third Annual Festival of New Work by Women). She is a member of the League of Professional Theatre Women and Co-Chair of their New Play Festival devoted to developing new work by women.
