With a new summer comes new interns, and we’re excited to announce that we have taken on five new student interns! Coming from all over the country, they’ll be adding their enthusiasm and skills to the EST team for the summer. They will be tackling jobs from administrative work to crewing the EST 2010 Marathon.
Here’s a brief introduction to each intern:
Charles Giardina
– A joint Theatre-Economics major at Middlebury College. Entering his junior year, he is excited to learn from the work done at EST to help hone his own directing and producing skills.
Deepali Gupta – Entering her junior year at Brown University, Deepali is a Performance Studies Major and interested in acting and writing.
Lisa Huberman
– A graduate student in the MFA playwriting program at Rutgers University, Lisa will be working in our literary department. She has previously held internships at the McCarter Theater and Chicago Dramatists.
Nick Martin – A junior from Drew University interested in producing will be joining us for the summer while also working a part-time job as an Assistant Director at the Fringe.
Lily Riopelle
– Just graduated from Brearley and is excited to bring her directing experience to EST and use it as a jumping off point into her producing internship here.

Hi guys! I was an intern-oh about a decade ago-I have since gone up to Lexington Lab and worked with Jamie up there and Chris Ceraso-and thankfully, have recovered from a bad car accident! India was our fearless leader and I hope she’s well! I have just left a theatre company-Haartschac Productions, and will be working on some future projects with a playwright/director named John Pallotta-who has several projects optioned for film and for Broadway. Cheers! Jessa
